Peace Land Seal

This seal represents the most important things that the people of Peace Land cherish. School is an everyday thing, and everyone in peace land is expected to have a good education so they can some day become successful and have a good future. Family is one of the most important things to all residents, family is always there, and will never give up on you. Peace land is also a place that demonstrates peace, and the dove, and a peace sign demonstrate what our society is all about, there is no violence, and rarely ever any fighting so this is why both the dove and peace sign are such a great example to use for our utopia.

Each house in this utopia have similar characteristics, their all big, and are all kept clean. No one in Peace Land is poor so we all have nice houses to live in. Impt. Landmarks

Since the dove is Peace Land's signature bird, or animal, in the middle of our society is a state of the dove. This dove once again represents peace, and is honored by the people.

People

In Peace Land, the people dress as ordinary people. Jeans, and a shirt are a typical outfit for boys and girls. Although most people find it disrespectful if a lot of skin is displayed especially on younger girls. WE don't have a strict dress code, but its usually just common sense for people to follow here in peace land.

Transcendental?

Peace Land believes in transendentalism somewhat. In Peace Land we believe that everyone needs time to reflect. That is why the kids walk home from school through the park. It is a time to reflect and think about everything in your life. We do, however, believe that you need leaders in your life. We have a president and cabinet of people who keep things in order. There are rules, but they are simple and easy to follow. People would conform to this society 100 percent. It is a great opportunity for everyone to be involved in.

Journal Entries

Day 1:
Every year, Christmas is a great day in Peace Land. Everyone sings Christmas carrols, drinks hot chocolate around a bonfire, and exchanges gifts. The entire society decorates a giant tree together. No one is left home on this day, and no one will be alone. Everyone shares the gifts they are given. In the morning there are large bufffets of food. A group of volunteers cook the food and everyone gathers together and talks. Usualy then, people go home, do chores, and t hen prepare for the night time festivities. At night everyone meets at the town hall and exchages gifts. Before hand everyone had picked names out of hat. No one was left out of this activity. Everyone then eats the food that everyone had brought. People sing, laugh, and have a good time. This is what Christmas is like in Peace Land.

Day 2:
This is how a day would go for a young girl. In the morning she would wake up around ten o'clock am. It is important for everyone to get enough rest so that they can perform efficently. Her mother would then have pancakes waiting on the table with fruit and a glass of orange juice. She was eat her breakfast and then shower and get ready for school. School starts at eleven o'clock am. When she gets to school she has math class. She then goes to science, social studies, gym, english, art, and lastly spanish. She ends school at four o'clock pm. On her walks home from school, she reflects on her day by taking a walk through the park. This helps her relax. She then helps her mother cook dinner for her father and spends time with her friends. When she's done spending time with her friends she does her homework. After homework she spends time with her mother and father either watching tv or playing a game. This is what a day is like when a young girl would have school.

Day 3:
On saturdays a young girl does not go to school. Once again she usualy wakes up at about ten o'clock am. She then goes to church at eleven am. Everyone in this society is christian. Church is usually an hour. After church she goes to work. Girls work at restaurants and boys work where there is more physical labor needed. The shift usualy goes until four-thirty pm. After that she goes home and eats dinner with her family. Eating dinner as a family is something in this society that people do everyday. After dinner she will go out with her friends. Sometimes the might go to a movie, go bowling, take a walk in the park, or go shopping. Her curfew is one in the morning. She then goes to sleep, and prepares for the next day.

Government

The government of Peace Land is a democracy. We believe that everyone should have equal opportunities and have an equal chance at happiness. We will have a leader who will be chosen by the people. The leader will then chose a cabin of people who he/she thinks will be efficient workers in running Peace Land. This is how our society will make decisions and be ran efficiently.

Dear _______,

Peace Land is a new society, or uptopia that has several diferent purposes and rules. In the U.S today there is a lot of violence, arguments, and bad people where in Peace Land all of those bad things no longer exist. Peace Land is a place where everyone can feel safe with the people their around and the places they live. When arguments occur there is a way to fix them without violence, no one will feel afraid in our Utopia because of our rules/laws/and consequences. The best thing about Peace Land is that no one will ever be alone, some people fear that they will have to spend the rest of their life alone and in Peace Land this is impossible, everyone will have someone. If violence, fear, sadness and arguments are somethings that you like then I'd say Peace Land is not for you, but I don't think that many people wouldn't want to live in Peace.
